We are going to go around some of this city’s most fascinating attractions, like the Oudaya Kasbah, Chellah, and the Hassan Tower. Proceed farther till you arrive in Meknes, the Ismaili people’s capital and one of Morocco’s four imperial cities. While seeing the city, we’ll stop at some of the most notable sights: the exquisite Bab Mansour Gate, built by Sultan Moulay Ismail; the serene courtyards of the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail; and Sahrij Swani, an irrigation and farming system.

Enjoy the alluring bustle of El Hedim Square while taking a leisurely stroll through the ancient Meknes medina. We will have a lunch break with no planned activities. We go to Fes after lunch, where we will relax, have dinner, and spend the night in a traditional riad or hotel in the heart of the medina.

Explore Morocco’s most ancient and cultural city after breakfast. Explore the ancient city of Fes, dubbed “the spiritual capital of Morocco,” by taking a medina tour. The Jewish Quarter (Mellah) and the Royal Palace, with its exquisite mosaic architecture and golden doors, are included in our guided tour of Fez. In the eleventh century, the city’s principal leather workshop was Chaouwara Tanneries. One of the oldest institutions in the world and a historic center of Islamic education, Kairaouine Mosque is closed to non-Muslims, yet you can still see the courtyard from the gates. Notable examples of Islamic architecture are the Al-Attarine Madrassa and the Najjarine Marble Fountain.

Bou Inania Medersa is among the most impressive religious colleges in Fes. We’re going to a Moroccan restaurant for lunch. The inside wall of Bab Boujloud’s mosaics is green, which is considered a sacred color in Islam, whereas the exterior wall is blue. Explore the marketplaces and streets of Medina. Later, we’ll take you to a vantage position where you can see Fes El-medina Bali. We slept and ate at the same medina riad.

We will depart Fes after breakfast and continue our trek across the Middle Atlas Mountains. Known popularly as “the Switzerland of Morocco,” Ifrane will be one of the destinations we visit. Furthermore, we are going to stop near Azrou to visit the Monkey Forest. We then carry on to Midelt, Morocco’s apple capital, where we will eat lunch alone at one of the neighborhood eateries. We will cross the 1,907-meter-high Tizi N’talghouma pass in the late afternoon to start our adventure to the Sahara desert. We will pass charming Berber villages and the magnificent Ziz Valley on our route.

After that, we’ll travel to the gorgeous Merzouga region, which is well-known for its sand dunes, and we’ll do camel riding there. We will reach the Sahara desert by taking this route, and once there, we will be treated to a spectacular sunset among the sand dunes. The evening and night will be spent in a desert camp around a campfire, enjoying music performed by the locals beneath an amazing sky.

It’s better to get up early the following morning to see the stunning daybreak. Proceed to Merzouga town by camel or car after having breakfast and taking a shower, then proceed to Rissani. On foot, we will tour the biggest, most well-known, and most popular market in the area, paying particular attention to the handcrafted goods and locally made goods. The best times to go to Rissani are on Sunday, Tuesday, or Thursday. These three days are therefore souk, which makes them perfect for shopping for those who live in the desert. We’ll continue on to Tinghir later, passing through the Tafilalt Oasis to view the remnants of the oasis’s ancient irrigation system.

We shall have our own lunch once we get to Tinjdad town. After that, travel to Tinghir to explore the orange cliffs of Todra Gorge and take in the breath-taking views of Todra Valley. Because to its about 300-meter-deep gorges, Todra Gorge is a well-liked climbing location. We’ll spend the evening and night in one of Boumalne Dades’s hotels or riads, which overlooks a lush valley.

Following breakfast, we will travel to Ouarzazate, sometimes referred to as the “Hollywood of Africa,” where we will film the Kasbah Taourirte and tour the renowned Atlas Studios. After that, we go on to our next stop, the historic Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou. Built alongside the caravan road that connected Marrakesh with the Sahara was this city. During the 17th century, it was a thriving business hub. We will see the Kasbah and then have lunch at a nearby restaurant. In the afternoon, we resume our journey to Marrakech via the High Atlas Passes. We will pause along the way to take in the stunning Atlas Mountains and Tizi N’Tichka Pass (2260m).
